Meet Sarah — ILM Graduate & Owner of Forte Faces (Conshohocken, PA)
+ Read Sarah's story
Sarah trained at ILM in 2018 and is now co-founder and owner of Forte Faces, a medical aesthetic and wellness practice in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. After completing ILM's injectable training she landed her first med spa role, later worked alongside a plastic surgeon, and eventually opened her own practice — which she has now owned for three years. She points to ILM's hands-on, live-model training as what set the program apart from other schools.
"Not only were we able to learn didactic in the classroom, we were able to apply it to a patient directly after… If you're a nurse trying to get away from the bedside or start a career in aesthetics, I highly recommend ILM."
— Sarah, Owner, Forte Faces
Hi, I'm Sarah. I am co-founder and owner at Forte Faces in Conshohocken. Upon my completion of the ILM course, I landed my first job at a med spa. I worked there for several years and then decided I wanted to further my career, so I started working side by side with a plastic surgeon. All of that experience over those years led me to opening my own practice. Forte Faces is a medical aesthetic and wellness practice, and I think what sets us apart is our patient experience and our provider education. One of the things that stood out to me about ILM in comparison to other schools was the hands-on training — not only were we able to learn didactic in the classroom, we were able to apply it to a patient directly after. I took classes at ILM back in 2018. Now it is 2026 and I have been the proud co-owner of Forte Faces for three years. If you're a nurse trying to get away from the bedside or start a career in aesthetics, I highly recommend ILM. Their program has evolved even since I was there in 2018 and now includes shadow days, apprenticeship, and continued support throughout your entire career.
Meet Rebekah — ILM Graduate & Owner of Blume House of Aesthetics & Wellness
+ Read Rebekah's story
Rebekah is the owner of Blume House of Aesthetics and Wellness. Before training with ILM, she worked as a geriatrics nurse at a local hospital. Drawn to aesthetics by its focus on wellness and building patients' confidence, she chose ILM for its long-established reputation, CEU-accredited training, and boutique small classes with hands-on, one-on-one instruction. She credits ILM's passionate instructors for making the training both enjoyable and rewarding.
"Change doesn't come from a comfortable place. It comes when you are willing to step out and grow."
— Rebekah, Owner, Blume House of Aesthetics & Wellness
My name is Rebekah, and I'm the owner of Blume House of Aesthetics and Wellness. Before training with ILM, I was a nurse at a local hospital working in geriatrics. What inspired me to get into aesthetics is the focus on wellness and the individual — building confidence in people. I love it when they come see me and I get to educate them and make them feel more confident about themselves. The reason I chose ILM for my training is that they're well established; they've been around for a long time. They give CEUs for their training, and they have boutique small classes where we get hands-on with one-on-one instructors. The instructors at ILM make class fun. You can tell that they're very passionate about what they do and they love to teach, so it just makes it more enjoyable and you get so much out of it. If you're a nurse considering ILM, I just want to encourage you to get out there and try it. Step away from the bedside. Change doesn't come from a comfortable place — it comes when you are willing to step out and grow.

Where in Pennsylvania ILM Teaches
Skippack. ILM’s headquarters and Med Spa at 4092 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, in Montgomery County about 30 miles northwest of Center City Philadelphia. It is ILM’s own practice, it carries the most dates, and if you complete both days, your complimentary shadow day and apprenticeship hours happen here. Details and dates: Botox & Filler Training in Philadelphia, PA.
Pittsburgh. A hotel conference room in the Pittsburgh area, with the venue confirmed in your enrollment materials. The closest ILM classroom if you live in western Pennsylvania. Details and dates: Botox & Filler Training in Pittsburgh, PA.
Lancaster. A working medical spa in Lancaster, with the venue confirmed in your enrollment materials. The closest ILM classroom if you are in Lancaster, York, or Harrisburg. Lancaster dates are posted below as they are confirmed.
Choosing Between Skippack, Pittsburgh, and Lancaster
The course you take is identical in all 3 cities. The instructors are the same active practitioners who treat patients every day, and so are the curriculum, the live models, the 6-student cap, and the Merz, Galderma, Revance, and Revanesse products you inject with. So choose by your drive and by the setting you want. Skippack is your pick if you want to train inside ILM’s own Med Spa or want the widest choice of dates. Pittsburgh is your pick west of the Alleghenies. Lancaster is your pick for south-central Pennsylvania when a date is on the calendar.
What the 2 Days Cover
Day 1, the Essential Injection Training, starts from zero and needs no prior injection experience. Your morning covers facial anatomy, patient safety, indications and contraindications, patient assessment, and product preparation. Your afternoon is 30 units of neurotoxin and 1 syringe of filler on live models, treating the glabella, forehead, crow’s feet, marionette lines, and lips.
Day 2, the Advanced Injection Training, is 50 units and 1 syringe across the masseters, platysmal bands, cheeks, jawline, and chin. Each day is worth 7.75 CNE credits and comes with its own certificate of completion. You can take one day or both.

Why Pennsylvania Injectors Choose ILM
ILM’s Continuing Nursing Education program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, so the 15.5 CNE credits are Pennsylvania-approved credits earned in a Pennsylvania classroom. ILM has trained injectors since 2007, and its instructors treat patients in the same Skippack practice where the shadow day takes place. If you want more mentored practice after the course, you can continue in the Aesthetic Apprentice Program.
From ILM’s graduates: “From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuine. The owners are not only knowledgeable and professional, they’re down to earth.” And: “ILM is life changing. I have been doing trainings and spending money for the past several months to dive into the aesthetics industry, and this was the best money I have ever spent!”
ILM also teaches laser hair removal, comprehensive laser, laser tattoo removal, SkinPen microneedling, and chemical peels in Pennsylvania; the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh location pages have the city overviews.
