Day 1 is the Essential Injection Training, Day 2 is the Advanced Injection Training, and together they are the 2-Day Botox & Filler Training. ILM has taught injectables since 2007, and your instructors are active practitioners who treat patients at the Skippack Med Spa.

Hi, I'm Sarah. I am co-founder and owner at Forte Faces in Conshohocken. Upon my completion of the ILM course, I landed my first job at a med spa. I worked there for several years and then decided I wanted to further my career, so I started working side by side with a plastic surgeon. All of that experience over those years led me to opening my own practice. Who Can Take Botox Training in Pennsylvania
ILM’s injectable courses are open to licensed medical professionals only: registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician associates, dentists, doctors, and physicians. Proof of active state licensure is required at enrollment. The courses are not open to estheticians, medical assistants, or other unlicensed practitioners.
No prior injection experience is needed for Day 1. Day 2 is built for injectors who have completed foundational training, and Day 1 is that foundation. You leave with a certificate of completion for each day and 7.75 CNE credits per day, 15.5 for both. What You Learn in 2 Days
Day 1, the Essential Injection Training, is for injectors with no prior experience. In the morning you cover facial anatomy, indications and contraindications, product preparation and patient assessment. Your afternoon is on live models: 30 units of neurotoxin and 1 syringe of filler across the glabella, forehead, crow’s feet, marionette lines, and lips.
Day 2, the Advanced Injection Training, moves to the areas that separate a basic injector from a sought-after one: masseters for jaw slimming, platysmal bands for the neck, cheeks, jawline, and chin. You inject 50 units of neurotoxin and 1 syringe of filler on live models. You can take either day on its own, or take both back to back and leave with 15.5 CNE credits and two certificates of completion.

Where the Class Meets
Philadelphia-area classes meet at ILM’s headquarters, 4092 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, inside the Med Spa where ILM treats its own clients. You practice in treatment rooms, not a hotel conference room, with the products ILM includes in the course: Merz, Galderma, Revance, and Revanesse.
Skippack is in Montgomery County, about 30 miles northwest of Center City, on Skippack Pike (Route 73). In normal traffic, plan on about 45 minutes from Center City, 25 minutes from King of Prussia, 15 minutes from Lansdale, and 12 minutes from Collegeville.

For graduates who want more, the Aesthetic Apprentice Program is a mentor-guided program with real client consultations and supervised treatments.
