The Institute for Laser Medicine is headquartered at 4092 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, in Montgomery County, about 30 miles northwest of Center City Philadelphia. It is a working med spa, and every ILM medical aesthetics program is taught here, on live models, in the building where ILM treats its own clients. If you are in the Philadelphia area this is your home classroom: it carries the most dates of any ILM city, and it is where you return for your complimentary shadow day.
Two programs anchor the schedule. The Comprehensive Laser Training is 3 days of hands-on work in 5 laser modalities, 24 CNE credits, classes of 6 to 8, and $3,500 tuition. The 2-Day Botox & Filler Training pairs the Essential and Advanced Injection courses in a class of 6: you inject 80 units of neurotoxin and 2 syringes of dermal filler and earn 15.5 CNE credits. Skippack also hosts ILM’s 1-day courses, Laser Tattoo Removal ($2,000) and SkinPen Microneedling, each capped at 6 students. Who can enroll in each program is answered below.

Who Trains at Skippack
ILM has taught from Skippack for nearly 20 years, and your instructors treat clients with these same lasers and products between classes. Because this is the home classroom, your complimentary shadow day and apprenticeship hours happen here too, as they do for graduates of every ILM city.
From ILM’s graduates: “From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuine. The owners are not only knowledgeable and professional, they’re down to earth.” And: “I absolutely love ILM! It’s so much more than a wellness and aesthetics educational program.”
Eligible graduates can go on to the Aesthetic Apprentice Program for mentor-guided experience after the course. For the laser program in depth, see the Philadelphia laser page; for injectables, the Philadelphia Botox & Filler page.
Meet Sarah: ILM Graduate and Owner of Forte Faces in Conshohocken
Sarah trained at ILM in 2018 and now co-owns Forte Faces, a medical aesthetic and wellness practice in Conshohocken, about 18 miles from the Skippack classroom. In her words: “If you’re a nurse trying to get away from the bedside or start a career in aesthetics, I highly recommend ILM.”
