Meet Sarah — ILM Graduate & Owner of Forte Faces (Conshohocken, PA)
+ Read Sarah's story
Sarah trained at ILM in 2018 and is now co-founder and owner of Forte Faces, a medical aesthetic and wellness practice in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. After completing ILM's injectable training she landed her first med spa role, later worked alongside a plastic surgeon, and eventually opened her own practice — which she has now owned for three years. She points to ILM's hands-on, live-model training as what set the program apart from other schools.
"Not only were we able to learn didactic in the classroom, we were able to apply it to a patient directly after… If you're a nurse trying to get away from the bedside or start a career in aesthetics, I highly recommend ILM."
— Sarah, Owner, Forte Faces
Hi, I'm Sarah. I am co-founder and owner at Forte Faces in Conshohocken. Upon my completion of the ILM course, I landed my first job at a med spa. I worked there for several years and then decided I wanted to further my career, so I started working side by side with a plastic surgeon. All of that experience over those years led me to opening my own practice. Forte Faces is a medical aesthetic and wellness practice, and I think what sets us apart is our patient experience and our provider education. One of the things that stood out to me about ILM in comparison to other schools was the hands-on training — not only were we able to learn didactic in the classroom, we were able to apply it to a patient directly after. I took classes at ILM back in 2018. Now it is 2026 and I have been the proud co-owner of Forte Faces for three years. If you're a nurse trying to get away from the bedside or start a career in aesthetics, I highly recommend ILM. Their program has evolved even since I was there in 2018 and now includes shadow days, apprenticeship, and continued support throughout your entire career.
Meet Rebekah — ILM Graduate & Owner of Blume House of Aesthetics & Wellness
+ Read Rebekah's story
Rebekah is the owner of Blume House of Aesthetics and Wellness. Before training with ILM, she worked as a geriatrics nurse at a local hospital. Drawn to aesthetics by its focus on wellness and building patients' confidence, she chose ILM for its long-established reputation, CEU-accredited training, and boutique small classes with hands-on, one-on-one instruction. She credits ILM's passionate instructors for making the training both enjoyable and rewarding.
"Change doesn't come from a comfortable place. It comes when you are willing to step out and grow."
— Rebekah, Owner, Blume House of Aesthetics & Wellness
My name is Rebekah, and I'm the owner of Blume House of Aesthetics and Wellness. Before training with ILM, I was a nurse at a local hospital working in geriatrics. What inspired me to get into aesthetics is the focus on wellness and the individual — building confidence in people. I love it when they come see me and I get to educate them and make them feel more confident about themselves. The reason I chose ILM for my training is that they're well established; they've been around for a long time. They give CEUs for their training, and they have boutique small classes where we get hands-on with one-on-one instructors. The instructors at ILM make class fun. You can tell that they're very passionate about what they do and they love to teach, so it just makes it more enjoyable and you get so much out of it. If you're a nurse considering ILM, I just want to encourage you to get out there and try it. Step away from the bedside. Change doesn't come from a comfortable place — it comes when you are willing to step out and grow.

What You Get in Boston
Everything that makes the Skippack class work comes to Boston with it. ILM’s instructors are active practitioners who treat patients every day. The live models you inject on both afternoons, the 6-student cap, and the Merz, Galderma, Revance, and Revanesse products all travel too. ILM has run the course this way since 2007.
The one thing Boston does not have is ILM’s building. You train in a hotel conference room in the Boston area, and the complimentary shadow day and apprenticeship hours that come with finishing both days are held at the Skippack Med Spa in Pennsylvania.
Day by Day
The Essential Injection Training is Day 1 and needs no prior injection experience. You spend the morning on facial anatomy, patient safety, indications and contraindications, patient assessment, and product preparation. In the afternoon you inject 30 units of neurotoxin and 1 syringe of filler on live models: glabella, forehead, crow’s feet, marionette lines, and lips.
The Advanced Injection Training is Day 2, built on the foundation Day 1 gives you. You inject 50 units and 1 syringe across the masseters, platysmal bands, cheeks, jawline, and chin. Each day earns 7.75 CNE credits and a certificate of completion; both days together earn 15.5 credits and 2 certificates.
Where the Boston Class Meets

Why New England Injectors Train With ILM
You are one of 6 in the room, so every injection you make is watched and corrected in the moment. If you want more supervised practice after the course, the Aesthetic Apprentice Program is there for graduates who want more time with a mentor.
From ILM’s graduates: “I took my course with Heather, and she was absolutely amazing. Her calm presence in a room full of newbies was so reassuring. Unlike other trainings I’ve taken where you only get to do a “half lip” or partial treatment, ILM lets you complete a full client experience.” And: “Dana was a great teacher. Very patient and informative. Having the school supply people to work on was thoughtful. It gave a good amount of time for each of us to get comfortable with the technique.”
ILM also brings laser hair removal training to Boston; the Boston location page has the city overview. If you would rather take the course inside ILM’s own Med Spa, the Skippack sessions are on the Philadelphia page.
