Train Close to Home: Skippack & Pittsburgh
Skip the cross-country travel. Complete ILM’s on-demand lessons at your pace, then join a 3-day, in-person practical in Skippack or Pittsburgh. You’ll train on live models with close mentorship from your instructor, so your time on site is all about reps, feedback, and confidence.

Where our PA learners come from
- Skippack site: Philadelphia, the Main Line, King of Prussia, Collegeville/Royersford, Lansdale, Harleysville, Blue Bell, the greater Lehigh Valley, Harrisburg, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Lancaster, and York.
- Pittsburgh site: Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Westmoreland, Washington, Lawrence, Mercer, Armstrong, Indiana, Cambria, and Erie counties (including North Hills, South Hills, Robinson/Moon, Monroeville, Murrysville, Greensburg, and beyond).
Local logistics
- Dress code: Navy or black scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and hair pulled back.
- What to bring & what we provide: We provide all laser safety materials and required paperwork. Students must bring their completed workbook.
- Certificate: Issued upon successful completion of Day 3 (the final day) of class.
- Course topics by day:
- Day 1: Science of Skin & Hair + Laser Hair Removal
- Day 2: Photofacial + Pigment
- Day 3: Fractional Laser Treatments + Skin Texture
- Daily schedule (each day):
- Didactic + quizzes: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Hands-on training: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Class size: Typically 6–8 students per class.
- Arrival time: Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
- Parking:
- Skippack classes: Free parking available.
- Away classes: Hotel parking available (rates vary by location).
